As per latest research, it’s estimated that more then 1.2 billion people browse the Web via a mobile device or tablets.When those people visit your blog, are their devices are eligible to seeing your blog in the best possible format for their small screen? But, now I want to share something new with all of you that with the new Mobile Theme in Jetpack, you can be sure that they are.

The Mobile Theme gives the following custom header and background settings from your current desktop theme:
  • Custom header image
  • Custom background image or color
  • Custom background image repeat and position settings
  • Whether or not to display the header text (applies to site title and description)
  • Header text color (color applies to site title only)

Enabling The Mobile Theme


First of all if you don't have Jetpack for your WordPress blog then download from here.To use this mobile theme, all you have to do is activate the Mobile Theme module on the Jetpack dashboard as shown in image below:

How Do I Check The Mobile Theme In Action On My Blog?

The Mobile theme will only work on a mobile device, so if you want to see your blog as a mobile version, you’ll need to visit your site from a mobile device.

Mobile Theme Options

Go to options and choose to display either excerpts or full posts on the home page and archive pages of your blog.Steps are given below:
  • Go To Jetpack → Jetpack In Your Dashboard.
  • Locate the Mobile Theme module, and click Configure.You will redirect to the Configure Mobile Themes page.
  • Choose Your Favorite Option & Click Save Configuration

Switch To “Full Version” Option
