The essential purpose of the various social networks is to provide a way by which people can locate and look for each other. It provides a means by which people can keep in touch and constant communication with each other. How then do people find each other on these networks? To make the internet navigation easier and more easier on the social media, Facebook is planning to launch a fresh search engine for the users.
Facebook engineers are working for this mission. They will finish work soon on this project. Facebook’s objective behind the ambitious project led by Lars Rasmussen, former Google engineer, is “to help users better sift through the volume of content that members create on the site, such as status updates, and the content, videos, and other information across the Web that people “like” using Facebook’s omnipresent Like button,” said the report.
