See Image size s1600 in above URL, it is the default blogger dimension. s1600 is the largest dimension of an image in blogger blog. You can change it upto s9999.
How To Resize My Blogger Blog Images?
After upload an image to Blogger you'll get the Direct image link in your post editor. If you want 450px width image, change s1600 to s450 (leading s is important and use any width you want.)

How To Crop An Image?
Another interesting feature to convert your image into perfect square size is "Cropping". This option will cut the extra image on either sides and serve you a square image. Follow the steps given below to crop your image.
Just add the -c at the end of an image size. For example: s100-c. See demo below:

How To Make The Downloadable Image Link
If you'' paste direct image link in browser, it will show the image. But, if you want to provide download option for an image then follow given steps. It show’s a download prompt box to download the image.
