How To Resize And Edit Images On Blogger & Picasa
In this tutorial you'll learn "How To Re-size And Edit Images On Blogger & Picasa". Photos play important role for any blog or website. If you are using Blogger platform then your images you upload on your blog will be stored in Picasa. This is an image organizer/viewer free service by search giant Google.

Let me explain in detail, after create a blog, Picasa automatically create web album (with the same name) for your upload/uploaded photos. You can upload photos up-to 1 GB of total storage allotted to Picasa Web Albums.

Come to the point, some times you want to re-size already uploaded an image to your blog. You could do the following process:
  • Edit The Picture In Any Image Software (eg: Photoscape, Photoshop etc)
  • Resize An Image >> Upload Again To Blogger
Ufff..!! It is a too long process and you will have to upload the image to your blog again. There are some hidden inbuilt Image Resizing feature available in Blogger (Picasa) service.

Here, I'm showing you a demo Image with the dimensions 2000px x 2000px , Check original link which is hosted on my Picasa account. See original image link below:

See Image size s1600 in above URL, it is the default blogger dimension. s1600 is the largest dimension of an image in blogger blog. You can change it upto s9999.

How To Resize My Blogger Blog Images?

After upload an image to Blogger you'll get the Direct image link in your post editor. If you want 450px width image, change s1600 to s450 (leading s is important and use any width you want.)
